I'm trying again.
It is now 11pm Friday, and I have a big day tomorrow. As I lay in bed, and
couldn't get to sleep, I thought
it would be a good time to get in touch with you.
I got a telephone call from Shirley Bell @no-spam 5pm, and we had a good
conversation about her work, my school
She really wanted to know how my visit to my urologist went today. I only
got the blood test for my PSA
reading. (Before my radiation I was 9.4. After my radiation I was 3.52.)
Next tuesday I will go back
to see the Dr. for this present reading.
While we were talking I got an incoming telephone call and saw that it was
your mom. Shirley & I had talked all we needed, and I took Pat's call. We
talke in general random conversation, and then she got to
what she really wanted; it was to invite me to dinner out somewhere. We
finally settled on a McDonalds
for a Salad. It went ok. Her car needed a wash, and we drove across the
street and for $3. I gave it a
quick wash. It made her feedl good, adn I also felt good about it. What I
don't want is for her to depend on
me for her good times out (or in). She wen home and I went to the band room
in the school where I teach
and practiced for an hour.
Tomorrow night ( It's now 11:50 pm & almost tomorrow) The big 18 piece
Swing Band will play at
Averett University for the GRAND HOME COMING for George Washington High
School with 500 former
students signed up to attend. I will be playing lead Alto Sax. That could
account for my not gettin to sleep.
I will sign off now, and try to get to sleep. I love you all. Dad
