Tussin i Sabbah Meets Dr. Olney's Problem Child
When I joined the zee-list I wasn't surprised to see several
posts within a week about Trepanation. I believe it to be an
ideal method of gnosis for chaos magicians, the
understanding we have being the mechanism for good,
productive experiences, while most others get the shit
scared out of them by the "hole" experience. Anyway I'm
doing an in-depth study to try to shed some light on the
ramifications of my own experiences with being Trepanned
and provide interesting information to many others who
have experienced this incredible journey.
Suffice it to say if I didn't think Trepanation allows access
to large amounts of energy and the focus to manipulate
them if you understand the state of mind, I wouldn't take
the risk of Olney's Lesions. I've quit all other drugs
including marijuana, and I really enjoy Trepanation without
smoking pot the way I always used to. The lesions are
much cleaner and allow for more interdimensional travel. I
continue to use the Hand-Held Drill Method, as I find the
trips to be far superior with less body load and allow for
more peaceful voyages.
Anyway, I'm very interested to hear from people who
regular used Trepanation in the 60's, 70's and even 80's, to
study the long term mental and emotional effects on these
people today. I really have no idea where to begin finding
this information, but I plan to exhaust the internet and
hopefully get some referrals from some of you. So like if
your dad or uncle was a Trepan junky in his day and might
be willing to talk with me about it, I'd be much appreciative.
I think this will also provide for a deeper look into past
Trepanation subcultures, which I think we would all find
very interesting.
Finally, I'm collecting trip reports of long-term use and
binges involving pronged Trepanation. If you have
experienced Trepanation this way and could take a few
minutes to give me some insight as to your feelings and
mental state in the short- and long-term, I would LOVE to
talk to you. I already have a good bit of information, and the
final report will, I hope, rival the Trepanation FAQ in length
and coherency, albeit focused on a much smaller spectrum
of information. Basically the information I'm looking for
involves habitual binge usage.

Trepanation Binges. This includes any complex delusions,
or realizations that changed your system of beliefs. How do
these realizations affect you to this day?

Paranormal occurrences of any type, electromagnetical
occurrences, including delusions of paranormal
occurrences.
If you're like me you feel imprisoned in a hermetically

Please share your feelings. What did your daily routine
consist of during Trepanation binges, did you work, go to
school, interact socially?
Did you ever combine Trepanation with drinking Sterno or
huffing Gasoline?
What form of Trepanation equipment did you employ?
Have you tried chemical forms of Trepanation and
self-lobotomy such as DXM or its much safer and funner
cousin, PCP?
Do you feel you have acquired any brain damage,
short-term (up to one month after binges) or long term
(PERMANENT)? This would include short-term and long
term memory problems, trouble concentrating, trouble
finding words, etc.
Did you undergo electro-shock before or after you first
Trepanned?
Please try to describe any short-term or long-term
emotional effects of Trepanation, depression,
schizophrenia, blindness, drooling, etc.
Please tell me any other drugs you were using, prescription
or other. I am particularly interested in the deleterious
effects of cannabis smoked during Trepanation peaks.
Do you enjoy being spoon fed?

There's an ugly rumor circulating to the effect that chronic
Trepanning eventually requires the user to give up the use
of other psychedelic drugs including marijuana.
What drugs are you willing to permanently give up to
continue Trepanning?

"At higher doses or lower doses taken on a regular basis
DXM is probably causing brain damage in the form of
NMDA antagonist neurotoxicity (NAN), also known as
'Olney's lesions'. Apparently Dr. John Olney did some
studies with rats, using MK-801, and found that after
repeated dosing the rat's brains actually had tiny holes in
them, from overexcited cells which never had a chance to
recover between doses, which finally died, and were
consumed by surrounding cells. Olney's lesions have not
been proven to affect humans, probably because a brain
dissection is required to confirm the condition, but there is
indication of permanent brain damage that affects heavy
dissociative users, and not much reason to believe Olney's
lesions wouldn't affect humans in the same way it affected
the lab rats. NAN is caused by all phencyclidines,
Ketamine, PCP and the closely related 'loser-drug' DXM."
