Hi all,

Nearly 3 years ago me and my cousin bought two wonderful 3DFX Voodoo5 v5500.
Both cards died almost at the same time, and of the same death: a cooling fan stopped spinning, and the chip under it burned/melted.
Bad design I'd say.. fans sooner or later stop, nothing you can do to avoid it, but the equation "fan stopping = chip burns" is really not too nice.

Anyway, I was wondering if our cards had 3 years warranty? I can't remember anymore.. does anybody know for sure?

And, since 3DFX is dead, who would honour our warranties now?

i would say 10 years for the warranty but if you find somebody to apply this warranty...

and don't be afraid, no luck with NVidia
this is sad but that's the way...
