Our client, a global IT service company is looking for a SQL Server
and/or Analysis Server Specialist for a 3 month contract starting
ASAP. Pay rate is $Open/hr.

solutions. They are a Microsoft centric shop and have achieved
Microsoft Certified Partnership status. Their culture is open,

Job Title: MICROSOSFT SQL SERVER & ANALYSIS SERVER CONSULTANT
Job Description: Join an elite team of consultants as a team member
to develop and implement reporting solutions for their customers. The
more experience with data warehousing or OLAP/ROLAP the better. You
are the STAR in StarSchemas. Accounting or business experience is also
highly desirable. The focus for this position will be working closely
with one of the client's partners to grow their Business Intelligence
practice. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to grow
with the company, define and redefine their role. .
Key Responsibilities
* Construction and Implementation of reporting solutions
* Support and creation of implementation technical environments
* Creation of Creation of demonstration
Must Have
* Two years of practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server,
Analysis Server, Data Analyzer
* Practical experience with data warehousing and OLAP and ROLAP
* Detailed understanding of Excel, including Pivot tables and
programming in VB for Excel
Nice to have
* Experience with accounting and/or ERP software systems such as
Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, JDEdwards and/or Great Plains * Experience
with other Business Intelligence tools including Cognos
Impromptu/Powerplay, Business Objects and others.
* Experience with other core Microsoft technologies (small business
server, active directories, exchange, projects server, team services)
Interpersonal skills
* Self motivated with an exceptional amount of creative as well as
productive energy
* Excellent time management skills to meet demanding timelines
* Ability to understand and manage dynamically shifting priorities
* Strong sense of ownership and urgency to deliver projects/tasks in a
timely fashion
* Strong verbal and written communicator
* Ability to work with individuals in a fun atmosphere
* Ability to take ownership, and be accountable for your own and
others results
If you have some of the below, supervisory experience makes you a
superior candidate
* Experience in leading and mentoring small teams of developers
* Ability to work with individuals in a fun atmosphere
* Experience in estimating effort
* Ability to take ownership, and be accountable for your own and
others results
Position reports to the Product manager.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
