Snr Project Manager/ Analyst .NET Design and Development (due next week)
Calgary, AB - 8-9 Month contract
Start: Mid July.
- Project Manager of a team designing and implementing a system
- Analyst using best practice object-oriented methods in a .Net development
environment
- Advisor/mentor for the development staff implementing the system
The successful candidate must have experience in project management as a
leader
of a development team, analysis in object-oriented methods and in .Net
technology.
The position will report directly to a Manager in the Information Systems
and Services
Branch. The proposed commencement date for this position is July 14, 2003
and the
expected end date is March 31, 2004.
Mandatory Requirements
Project Management with experience managing a team through the full life
cycle - 7 years
Business-to-Business project experience - 2 years
Business or systems analysis including:- Object oriented technology - Object
oriented methodology - Working experience using UML - Working experience in
the incremental/iterative life cycle - 5 years
.NET technology experience - 1 year
Experience leading an organization in strategically defining and
implementing new technology such as .NET - Minimum 1 project
Experience with Microsoft Development Environment (VB,ASP,XML) - 5 years
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent documentation and written skills
Mature coaching and mentoring skills
Desirable Requirements Required
MS Project and VISIO
