You miss the point ... pot doesn't have to be good for you before it becomes
illegal ...
There are millions of people damaged from consuming alcohol ... more
children are damaged from it, than any kind of pot use ...
BUT IT REMAINS LEGAL ...
That is, they sell cigarettes and booze and fatty foods ... and these don't
come with legal implications now, do they?
Pot smokers are merely asking for the same consideration ...

Numbskull ... it doesn't have to be harmless to be made legal ...
Otherwise, your brain/mouth combination would have been locked up years ago.

Though this has been reported at 30g, this hasn't actually been challanged.
30g's, is the norm for a trafficing charge, however, if the are no scales,
baggies or cash on hand, trafficing will be hard to prove. So, with this in
mind, 50 or 60g is just as legal as 5g in Ontario at the moment.
I'd like to see some of the nah-sayers put their beliefs in a true cannabis
culture forum. It would be interesting to see how they handle themselves
when facing the truth.
Wher it is legal here, I am personally ashamed.

Alcohol does the same thing. I haven't seen many winners in life
who were alcoholics either. If alcohol is legal, dope should
be as well. I'm not a smoker, but I've never had a problem with anyone
who does. Let people make their own decisions.

Hey Tickle Mi,
I've been paying taxs for over 20 years and it would be nice if they would
use our tax $ to help the sick and needy, instead of wasting it on a drug
war that they will never win. Don't that make more sense? Oh yes my life has
been far from useless, unproductive, or pitiful.

If you have been paying them to jail people for pot-smoking, then you are a
fool and you bear some responsibility for the abuses that you fund. Didn't

Dream on, clown.
The U.S. has so many marijuana users that we
here in Canada are making a pretty penny, thank you
very much, shipping tons of weed south of the border.
And that has nothing to do with whether personal
possession is legal here, which, at the moment, it
is.
As with cocaine and heroin, it seems you folks can
suck up as much cannabis as we can send you.
Your wretched federal government continues to
oppress its own citizens with its devious War on
(some) Drugs, while the U.S. provides the world's
biggest and richest market for every type of
mood-modifying substance available -- a situation
that is making a number of countries rich, while it
fills your prisons to bursting with people who don't
belong there.
Any wonder why people the world over shake their
heads in wonder and amusement when someone
mentions the United Snakes of America?
The last thing I want is for our government to use our tax $ to jail
marijuana smokers or growers. What I want is for them to legalize marijuana!
Their is NO reason why they should be locking up marijuana users, and
growers. I want them to stop wasting our tax $ on the war they will never
win.
Lets use that money to get the homeless off the streets and food in their
gut.
Peace,

They put dissidents in jail in your country? Wow, things are even worse
than I thought. How can anyone pay these people, and maintain a clear
conscience?

Yes they can put you in jail if you don't pay your fed. tax or state tax if
the state you live in has a state tax. If they don't throw you in jail you
have to pay fines and penalties. I owed the state of Illinois around $200.00
about five years ago. When I was forced to pay or go to jail last year I had
to pay out almost $800.00

I should have not said I was forced to pay last year or go to jail, but if I
didn't pay I would have owed them more this year, and next year, and the
year after that might be the year they go ahead throw you in jail. Yes maybe
I was wrong for paying , but again maybe not?
