In IE, try using the refresh key after the blank page comes up.

I'm resurrecting this issue. I still can't get it to work even running all of the registry fixes listed in this article. Basically, when disabling web browsing, instead of getting the open/save box... I get a blank browser. Are there IE settings that may be affecting this?
