ADOBE ACROBAT WINDOWS 2 RE SUMMARIZE OR PRINT COMMENTS DOES NOTHING

The comments all were added inside Acrobat using the native tools, and thus they ARE Acrobat comments, i.e. not imported from the original file.

The Comment tab shows all of the comments, and the document prints with the displayed comments wsiwyg to the screen display.

I must be missing some little twist here: I followed the help instructions literally when going into Document, Summarize Comments..., but clicking OK on this dialog simply dismisses the dialog and produces no commented pdf version. LIkewise with Print Comments...

<does anyone in Adobe Support *ever* look in here>?

Same problem still exists, for the latest document (on a bimonthly schedule). The original is in Quark Express, which runs off the pdf through Acrobat Distiller (V.5). I receive the pdf and make comments (with Acrobat Pro 6.0.1). The problems are:

1) Print Comments does print the comments, but often there are too many on a page and they print overlapped and therefore mostly illegible. Yes, they can also be listed with numbering at the end of the print job.

2) Document, Summarize (i.e. ctrl-T) does absolutly nothing. From the <inadequate> documetation, it appears as if Summarize is supposed to create a graphical layout of the comments alongside the document pages and not overlapping. But, as I've said multiple times, Summarize does nothing. I get the dialog box for it just fine, but selecting any combination of options and clicking OK just dismisses the dialog with no apparent actions, no files created, and no new document child windows.
