ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS 11 MY ANIMATION FOR THE NICKEL

The Nickel is a local film festival. I did an opening animation for it in AE, and it was the biggest project I've undertaken so far. Many many comps, many, many layers, effects, custom gradients, etc.


You can check out a small QT version of it here <http://www.terminus1525.ca/node/view/2425> if you like. Keep in mind that it is compressed here, and when viewed in the festival it was projected onto a rather large screen (how cool was that!) rtahe than viwed in a tiny box on a computer monitor.


I thought the largeness of it would reveal all kinds of mistakes, but it actually looked really good from what I saw, and I got a lot of positive feedback and compliments on it from friends and associates, and much appreciation from the festival organizers (I did it volunteer since for me it was like a giant free ad and I need more exposure in this town).
