Hey all,

Anybody every get an extra frame added into a render?

This was fixable in FCP, just chopped the extra one out, but strange.

the way I rendered it was with the render engine, so it created an image sequence which I converted to a movie, maybe the bonus was a Quicktime error?

Is it an extra blank frame at the end? Or is it a duplicate frame?

It is an extra long animation? If you rendered at 30, but AE is intrepreting as 29.97, you might get an extra frame that way.

I'd also look for something like Frame0001, Frame0002, Frame0002_1, Frame0003. Or maybe if you batch renumbered them with Photoshop 7, GraphicConverter, or R-Name and see if that fixes it.

Hey Navarro,

It was :90 long and the extra frame was in the last third. I will check the numbers in the sequence for the _1. I am pretty sure that my comp was set at 29.97, but I will check that too.

Thanks!
