No, there are no limitations that I have ever found.
Create a solid that is, say, 2000 pixels tall and 700 pixels wide. That should be more than enough to hold most credit rolls. If you are doing a feature that has two or seven hundred names and positions you may need to seamlessly link up two separate layers.
Path Text is a bit more complicated but it might be the better tool for credits.
BEST tool is to compose your text in Illustrator or Photoshop and import the file but dealing with those files is another level of complexity.

hey rick,
side note here,
but i really dug your review of Æ6 over at the cow.
the new tools look neat.
one question tho,
there was a feature that was recommended (navarro i think), and i was wondering if it was included.
the ability to execute a script for, say, buzzing a beeper upon render completion (or error).
any idea if something like this is available with six? i'm in cahoots with some tech friends on developing a script for this in the meantime. any info would be appreciated, as usual.

Rick has pointed out stuff that requires more information from you, Tomas. A limitation in the number of characters tht Text can handle is quite different from the image being "cut off." I assumed that you and I both know what you're talking about. Rick, having more experience at this, assumes you have reached the outer limits of yoru filters.
We'll be glad to help, which is it?
