Is there a better way to import text into AE. I need to have it keyable so that I can add a drop shadow withing AE. I've tried importing a targa file, but it looks fuzzy. Am I better off importing an .AI file?

Thanks

well a targa file should be alright if it is scaled no larger than 100%- are you sure you have your =resoltuion switch set to best quality?

but yes, illustrator is the best format as you can use "continuos rasterisation" to enlarge your text to any size you like without losing quality.

assume it's not just standard text that you could create within after effects?
