ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS 90 VIDEO FOR WINDOWS

I am a newbie with AE 5.5 so please help. I need to render a movie and the directions I have is to set up the Output Module format as a .avi (video for window) as well as set the format options as an Indeo Video v.5.x. The only problem is that I don't have these options on my Mac. The directions are for an IMB... please help... !

If you are on a Mac you would be better off using QuickTime - if, however,
you have to use Indeo, try installing the latest version of Windows Media Player http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/player.aspx - I may be wrong but this might install the necessary codecs for you

Indeo codecs are only available under Mac OS 9 on the Mac side. I doubt Intel will ever bother to rewrite these for Mac OS X.


Try using modern cross-platform friendly technologies like MPEG-4.
