can anyone explain what TIFF stripped and TIFF Tiled formats are? Do Photoshop and Illustrator have the ability to save these types of TIFFs? What type of TIFFs do Photoshop and Illustrator output?
Here is why I ask: We use a program called Dialogue that will not accept TIFFs that are stripped. I am creating and saving my TIFFs in Photoshop. So, if Photoshop does not save stripped TIFFs then the problem lies elsewhere I suppose.
Anyway, the stripped/tiled TIFF thing is all new to me, so any education would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
This was recently answered <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@no-spam> on a Photoshop forum. In brief, use the utility "tiffcp".
