have installed something called Adobe InDesign 1.5 HyperCD off an Adobe sample or demo CD sometime in the past. It isn't listed on Windows add and remove programs and doesn't appear to have an uninstall menu. How do i get this off
my system cleanly and completely?
thanks

Use an industrial-strength magnet.
That seems reckless Michael.
Since the program does not appear in 'Add/Remove Programs', there may be a problem with the Windows registry. From the Windows Start button, choose 'Run' and then type 'regedit'. Select all registry keys and delete everything until you see a blank window. This will completely clean the HyperCD from your system.
Another option would be to delete the executable 'Adobe InDesign 1.5 HyperCD' and/or its folder.
"Select all registry keys and delete everything until you see a blank
window. This will completely clean the HyperCD from your system."
It will also completely clean your system from your system.

You might as well tell him to re-format the hard drive. You guys are pretty cold to the new guys. For shame!
ooops - what day was that posted on?
We're giving Ron enough credit to know where the installation folder is so that he could have manually deleted it. Since Ron was bright enough to know that 'Add/Remove Programs' control panel was the first place to look, the next place to address should be the actual installation directory.
If something does not appear in 'Add/Remove Programs', then there is good reason to believe that it does not have its fingers grasping other registry keys. A simple folder deletion should clean things up.

I didn't see that. No wonder why.
