I need to know if there is any way to import a large FrameMaker file into InDesign and, if so, what formatting features are kept or lost.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Gail

All you can do is create a PDF and place that. You won't be able to edit it, however.

You would do better to save to Word or rtf and import that in InDesign.

Thanks guys ... think I'll stick with FrameMaker in that case! I don't want to have to reformat 600+ pages and reinsert all the images as well and this manual is in constant evolution.
