My laptop, CF-50, P4-2200, 1gig ram, locks up when I use the crop tool and a couple of other tools. I have tried resetting the preferences and reloading Windows and PS. Is there a compatability issue with this computer?

Only in that you have defective hardware or a defective driver in your computer.....


Check for updates from Panasonic, and see about swapping out the RAM. If those don't fix it, you'll have to talk to Panasonic about replacing the system.
