Not normally, unless you shift shitloads of data around all the time.

Hm... So fools must suggest it - like you did - to me - some weeks
ago.

Not it's not, idiot - because it's true. I own one, I have the
motherboard with a non-compliant bios, and I'm the one who doesn't
even think about it until it's mentioned by someone.
You on the other hand, how did you ever get out my killfile?
Plonk! (Anyone not so socially retarded they need to read messages
from that buffoon, be encouraged to do the same.)

Not for that particular problem, a 40GB drive tho.
And I said its the worst of the possible workarounds even for your 80GB drive.
Its better to just limit the size of the 40GB drive to 32GB
by software so the Award bios bug doesnt manifest.
You basically just tell the drive to report its size as 32GB.

Like hell it is with that 'unless someone like yourself mentions it to remind you'
If you try to install one of the NT/2K/XP family on that drive you have used
the bios overlay on, that will bite you. If you just try reconfiguring the
drives that will usually bite you too. So lots more will remind you, like I said.

Says nothing useful what so ever on when you
can be reminded that you have used a bios overlay.

For now.

Even you should be able to bullshit your way out of
your predicament better than that puerile stuff, gutless.
