What will you take? and do you happen to know if they used extra memory? We think they did, ut have yet pulled one apart to check...

It's for my father-in-law... he loves that printer...lol

would you be willing to send just the printhead for a few $$?
and possibly the rubber rollers if it has a sheet feeder?
