Of course it was evil. And it was directed against the US, which has itself acted in evil ways in many parts of the globe, and has been responsible for countless deaths of innocent families.

Based on the results to date, that is not at all clear.

What does Israel have to do with your argument? Israel kills innocent civilians, and has 'weapons of mass destruction'.
