Ultimate Frisbee Australia has 15 regions across the nation ... so I guess
some people are serious about it! See www.afda.com

Fascinating! It's clearly an international addiction, but I would
have assumed it had died out years ago!
The first (and almost only) time I enjoyed chucking a frisbee around
was nearly 30 years ago when I invited myself to join in with a couple
of yanks playing with one of the things in a park in San Francisco.
I was curious about the gizmos because I had never seen them
before and they were pretty common around the streets of Berkeley at
the time, with students chucking them back and forth across the roads
through gaps in the traffic.
Cheers, Phred.

I have to admit that when I first read the proposal I did giggle at the
thought of there being enough interest in frisbees. But if it's affecting
aus.sport then it's good that they're trying to organise their own
newsgroup.

Take out the litter to email me.
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should relax and
get used to the idea.
