I worked with a guy who worked on the original program some years back. He
left the company due to moral reasons. There is some stats to it but as far
I was told, the system does not work. They have had quite a few re-births. I
also think they do some stock trading stuff as well.

Would they be related to this mob that are also in Queensland? (why are
there so many "entrepreneurs" in QLD) http://www.ozplatinum.com/home.html
Same claims but with stocks...

Most of them are on the Gold Coast. As a Queenslander, I don't consider
that to be part of QLD :) I would like to see it annexed by NSW, they can
have them all :)
Like they say on the site:
"you will receive the following amazing package.
An invitation to a fully paid seminar on the Gold Coast incorporating Air
Fares, Luxury Accommodation for one night and an extremely informative
seminar which we believe will change your future financial direction."
This bit is of interest.
"will change your future financial direction"
No doubt it will and most likely not in the way you might think :)

There no free rides here Mark. I have been horse playing successfully since
1995 (only losing year was 1999 when I stayed home and put the wagers on at
the beginning of the day). Initially I subscribed to a rating's service
called Superform - the same people that do The Wizard and Daily Form
Service. I recommend them because they're something like $18 per week, but
you get a little magazine of all the week's results and ratings for every
horse as well as ratings of sorts for every race. Their web site is
www.inracing .com.au
Finally, after much study of the Superform/The Wizard ratings and articles
as well as reading the books below, I was able to code my own program which
incorporates the ratings as well as factors which I deemed significant to a
race's outcome. The end result was a set of prices like the TAB or a bookie
to which I would bet to. Any system that tries to pick winners is very,
probably destined for failure as the value element is not know or
approximated and you may be buying dollars for $1.2 rather than $0.85.
Your friend must also remember that the horse race money pools are a small
and finite market - $500,000 in a prize pool for a Saturday Melbourne race
is very good! There comes a time and it may be after a $500 bet, when you
start to clobber the prize pool, i.e. you cause the prize to plummet -
analogous to the stock market when buying causes it to go up.
Tell your friend to get educated or get out AND FORGET ABOUT SUCH SCAMS.
Horse racing success requires more skill and work than other investment
success although it is more exciting!
