Sure, lie and perjure yourself in court, always a good idea ...

You imbecile, GA, and 45 other states, already know. It's called the Interstate Driver's License Compact, been around for since the 80's.

Because most members of the public aren't blithering idiots like you,
and can consume alcohol responsibly and NOT DRIVE whilst impaired.

Because it's easier to but lowlife scumbags like you in prison for your reprehensible and dangerous behavior.

Have fun in prison, loser.

Don't matter, only a lowlife scumbage like you fails to comprehend that no level of alcohol impairment is acceptable.

Irrelevant you pathetic suck-shit. Quite simply, don't drink and drive. It's not so hard, millions of people manage to comply with that rule every day, only pathetic loser scumbags like yourself fail to comprehend or comply ... and you end up in prison and/or permanently removed from the gene pool where you belong.

Wrong.

The Effect of Alcohol on Ability With each drink consumed, a person's blood alcohol concentration increases.
Although the outward appearances vary, virtually all drivers are substantially impaired at .08 BAC. Laboratory and on-road research shows that the vast majority of drivers, even experienced drinkers, are significantly impaired at .08 with regard to critical driving tasks such as braking, steering, lane changing, judgment and divided attention. In a recent study of 168 drivers, every one was significantly impaired with regard to at least one measure of driving performance at .08 BAC. The majority of drivers (60-94%) were impaired at .08 BAC in any one given measure. This is regardless of age, gender, or driving experience

that would be an orginazation of the same governmental functionaries that have tried to convince us flouride is safe, aspertame is harmless,
genetically-engineered crops are perfectly containable and george W. bush was actually elected......

of course i'll believe everything they say.

and Sant-Clause is going to bring me a new ferrari this ear. The tooth fairy told me so. (actually, a much more reliable source than ANYTHING that pours out of the yapholes of gubiddiots)

My first time posting here, hope no one gets pissed. But I had to say, .08
is leagally intoxicated. Being "drunk" depends on many factors (weight,
tolerance to alcohol, time of consumption and such).

Drink & Drive.......I'll be the chaser!

Huh. Not sure what department you work for. We can't chase DUI's. The city wants to make sure if anyone gets killed, the cops aren't involved.
Whatever. We also aren't allowed to arrest for public intox. So, its only a matter of time before they find some drunk under a bus with an intox minor misdemeanor tag in his pocket.

Hello lawsuit....

personally, I apply the same rules to driving as i do to flying--8 hours minimum, and not even one is acceptable ....I have WAAAYYYY too much money invested in my ride to risk it on the attitude of some jackass beligerent asshole in a uniform-- I'd end up having to shove the retards skull into his anus and I hate getting shit on my fingers. but that wasnt the point.

point is the so-called "legal limit" is a crock of shit. ESPECIALLY if you happen to regularly drive between 2 jusitictions---say one with a .08 and 10
mins away is one with a .05...

so you instantly went from sober to impared by crossing some imaginary line???????

BULLSHIT

Thanks to the new federally "recommended" limit of .08, your worries are no more.

The U.S. is lenient. In Australia, it is 0.05.

> Drink & Drive ... I'll be the chaser!

On the eve of this past Australia Day, I was in Goulburn, a town not too far from Canberra in the south of NSW. Had a copper on my tail, and I had to drive from one end of town to the other, about 3 miles. I kept it right at 60 klicks, right on the peg, and kept it just as straight as an arrow. And the blighter stayed right with me. As soon as I turned off, he turned off,
and turned around and went the other way.

I kept waiting for him to pull me over. Not that it mattered, because I hadn't had a drop of grog the whole day.
