http://www.imagesciencescanning.com.au
We offer an affordable, high quality scanning service for anyone needing high quality, good colour scans direct from film, for any reason.

Our prices are 50-95% off lab scanning rates and we think we off a better service too - with attention to details and personal service. Our scanner operators have 6 years experience of high quality scanning and extensive photographic workflow knowledge.

Our service is mail-order or drop-off /pick-up in Melbourne (right near the Queen Vic Markets, by appointment).

We're happy to negotiate special bulk rates for orders, depending on our workload and your urgency.

For more details, see the web page - this includes full contact deals,
pricing, and some example scans.

Cheers,

Jeremy Daalder ISS Director

I love spammers that have 'spamgaurd' in their email address.

I wouldn't consider this spam .. although I do suspect you'll have as little success in this newsgroup than a photographer advertising his services would.

Hi JD,

Just wondering what type of scanner do you use, also do you guys wear gloves when you handle the negs? ;) nah just kidding, what im concerned about is mail-order and then get my negs back all nicely scratched with golfball-sized dust on them.

Well i hope all you know-it-alls never have a service to offer like JD,
because i suspect that if the quality reflects your attitudes you will be out of business soon. It wasnt spam that JD sent, it was clearly marked as an AD!, and if you dont want to use his service just don't use it!!! rather than filling up theads full of shit... stick to the title of the newsgroup AUS.PHOTO.

Well, thanks very much for your insightful input .. unfortunately (for you),
you have misread the tone AND content of my eMail ..

With all due respect, reread your own post and take your own advice ...

Hi Valar,

We haven't had any mail order problems so far at all (not a single loss or damage or anything - good packing and registered post or couriers seem to solve those problems). As for dust I'd recommend you pack up your images in slide pages/boxes or whatever and then maybe wrap that in cling film to keep any dust out. Simple, cheap and effective.

Cheers
Jeremy Daalder ISS Director.
