There has been a little bit of discussion/interest in this new digital
'standard' from Olympus/Kodak here in aus.photo so I thought I'd post this.
Yesterday saw the announcement of the first camera to use the system, the
Olympus E-1. It won't be available till Spetember-ish.

Basic specs: 5MP dSLR, RAW/JPG/TIFF modes, sRGB or Adobe (1998), ISO100-800
(up to 3200 with 'boost')
Range of lenses:

a.. E 14 - 54 mm, F2.8 - 3.5 zoom (28 - 108 mm)
a.. ED 50 mm F2 macro (100 mm)
a.. ED 50 - 200mm, F2.8 - F3.5 zoom (100 - 400 mm)
a.. E 11 - 22mm, F2.8 - F3.5 zoom (21 - 44 mm) (available by end 2003)

The "Supersonic Wave Filter" sounds interesting - auto-cleaning of CCD by
vibrating it.
