But doltish one (whatever you are calling yourself this week)
The following pertains:-
!/. I have never and will never make any kind of claim in respect to having
a "religious life".
2/. Whilst my personal belief is that mindless belief and adoration of a
supreme being that declines to manifest any tangible proof of its existence
is grounds to make a irrefutable assumption that the mind of the person
holding such belief is so severely disordered that they should be denied
ever holding any kind of employment where they are responsible for the
welfare of others, should have no access to weapons of any kind and indeed
should be subject to active surveillance in case they "get up to something".
I have as years have passed, mellowed a little in that I now believe that
religion, like deviant sexual practices, are tolerable providing they are
practised solely between consenting adults behind closed doors.
3/. Persons publicly touting religion should be subject to the same
sanctions as those who publicly tout other deviant behaviour such as sex
with animals, membership of the National Party or constitutional
monarchists.
4/. On reflection, some of the greatest acts of individual bastardry that I
have witnessed in my life were committed by devout Christians who doubtless
sought (and in their own mind gained) absolution for their acts the
following Sunday.
Ok,now that we have that very clear, please take aus.legal off the list of
victim newsgroups through which you carry your sandwich boards.
