Not even a little. :-) :-) :-)
God and man were subject to a number of convenants, starting with God
and Adam, moving on to God and Noah, then to God and Abraham, God and
Moses, and finally God and man through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Here's a little quiz for you. During what period of time was man a
vegetarian? Do some research and report back.
After you toy around with that a little bit, you'll realize that
although God is unchanging, He is also merciful, and through His mercy
man has lived with Him under different covenant relationships. Although
the specifics of each appeared to differ, they were all, however, based
on the concept of faith and love toward Him. That is in essence what is
unchanging. This is laid out in an ad hoc fashion in the words of His
Son Jesus Christ, and somewhat more systematically in the Book of Hebrews.
Now, if you (personally) wish to laserlock on the Mosaic covenant and
exchew pork, that's your business, and in doing so you don't disturb God
in the least, as ALL of his covenants are reflections of His righteousness.
Just don't go off and think that doing so has squat to do with your
salvation. It doesn't.

No, because you're not responding to the issue in question here, that
being the difference between 1) the unchanging nature of God, and 2) the
changing convants between God and man, and 3) the action of faith. You
put that question in play when you misunderstood the difference between
1) and 2) previous. Where you think Abraham hung his hat couldn't be
less relevant to the theological issue.
