Goes to show how much I know. Hint: Tippers should watch
for my picks and go opposite.

Like I said - no game is safe....and I got my Freo over Brissie..
I expect questions will now be asked - Primus out of the side and Port win,
Primus in and they lose. Perhaps it's time that Port look to removing
Primus from the side completely.....

Difference being that we tend to win once we get key players back into the
side. For the best part of this season we've had our forward line out -
only now are we getting them back - Welsh, Stevens (should be this week if
Perrie gets rubbed out), Burns, Carey, Burton have all been out for extended
periods this year, meaning that the team has had to make do with ad-hoc
forwards. Once they're back in we're kicking goals - Carey isn't getting a
bag full but he's doing more than enough by setting up play - his game
against Carlton last week was an example of this, and his last quarter on
Saturday showed why the Crows were keen to sign him, along with at least 10
other clubs.
There's a lot made of how vital to Port Primus is, how he's one of the best
players in the side, but they appear to do better without him than they do
with him. While he's been gone Lade and especially Brogan have come along
gangbusters, Lade is going to be very hard done by for the rest of the
season and should be traded away at the end of the season to a side that'll
give him a decent shot. However if Primus isn't there then Lade can prove
his worth to the club - very odd indeed.

If they take it the right way they will. However it'll be interesting to
see how many games they win from now on with Primus back in. Port people
made much of the fact that they win without Primus in the side (hence the
lack of a one man team), but how many do they win with him there?

I agree, I think that happens in LOTS of teams, they rely on ONE star
player, and when that bloke aint there, they crumble.
Each team seems to have a 'commentators' favorite player which is the
hero...

Hey if Port think Primus makes them lose games, send him over here now and
quickly to Napier Street, Essendon.

In my work tipping comp every single person tipped Adelaide to win. I also
said it was my guaranteed win.
So yes, there was a safe game.
