But of course I agree. It is with mixed feelings though as it means that you've given up on your team, sad as it is I feel that they're more talented both coaching and playing wise than their position shows. They've taken it up to each side but just fallen short each time - the game against the Weagles was heartbreaking.

Ok - feel free to donate the cashish to the Adelaide Zoo - they're my charity of choice right now. Plus it's a good place to hang out - and as anyone that lived in Adelaide during the 1970's the memory of George must always be retained.

Email me when you're done and you're a damn good guy for it - we'll catch up when I'm in Melbourne in August and I'll shout you a drink.

Cheers!

I agree, but this year began badly, and I guess we were never going to recover. As I said, as it is for charity I don't have a prob, even if they do get off the bottom, (so I haven't really given up, just saw an oppo for a charity to get your $100... :>). >

Well donate the $100 to the Adelaide Zoo in the name of George The Gorilla -
people who visited the Zoo here in the 70's will know George :-)

The Bulldogs could cease to exist next year, which would be worse.

Zane believe me, the Dogs WILL be around for a few more years yet.
Cambell Rose has done some really hard yards this season and the club can only improve operationally and financially. Even the AFL are content, dare I say, even pleased with the efforts.
Draft picks on their way, (4th pick is the highest I can ever recall having), Grant ready to hold CHB in 04, and 02 drafts such as Walsh (our No.1 and 4th overall in 02), may be ready for the big time.
PS: With games against Geelong, Richmond and Melbourne after the Port game, there's a chance we may even rise off the bottom.
Hooroo......who's glass is always half full!!
