it's when they're actually forward you run into troubles.

A reasoned fan realises there is nothing you can do about the referees and hopes their team is good enough to win regardless of the calls which are percieved to go against their team ... I get the feeling you'd be having a whinge not matter what, providing the Broncos lost of course.

I think you're going a bit far here ... if their current form continues they "may" squeeze into the eight ... but they've proven time and time again that they don't have what it takes to win the big games. I've seen nothing from them this year to change my mind on that score.
