Only if you pay the $50/month. It doesn't HAVE to cost a cent if you know how to go about it.

Besides, what it DOES do is to give you more content. Digital TV does not do that.

Aye.
I went to a deli the other day and cleaned out the cash register.
It was a completely victimless crime though as the guy who runs the deli is a jerk and has nothing good in his little shop and the money was just going to rot in the register anyway. At least this way I get to put it to good use.
