Does anyone know when the Hwy 183 will be completed?
Construction on the last remaining section has been going on forever, it
seems? I hardly see anyone working on it. It seems that it will never get
completed.

That section from the Spicewood/McNeil exit to just past 620
was supposed to be completed by late summer or early fall, but
like you I don't see anyone working out there any more, so I
gotta wonder...
P.S. to Allen -- that texasfreeway.com site kicks ass!

Barton Springs kinda ticked me off... it was hurting Green Mesquite (a small
BBQ restaurant that is fun to visit) but that restaurant luckily survived.
My first date with my wife was at Baby A's on Barton Springs, I'm sure the
construction didn't help it. Maggie Moo's, a decent local alternative to
Amy's, WAS put out of business in that location (now there is some Chinese
place I think). Pizza Nizza or whatever it's called is now desterted at
dinner time, don't know if they'll recover. I would have laughed if
Chewie's didn't make it, but oh well. :)
And what did that construction accomplish? A bike lane? A median? It's
the same damn road!!!

Wadya talkin' about?
Typical selfish "northerner!"
They are now in the process torturing those who reside south of 290 for
about the next ten years.
IT WILL NEVER BE FINISHED!
