A contract opportunity exists to help ECL with analysis and testing of SAS
Decision Support software. You must have recent experience with SAS
Institute software (or a direct competitor), enterprise software, and
specifically decision support (analytical) software. This is a short-term,
contract position (terms are negotiable based on experience and expertise).
If you have experience on competitors to SAS Institute analytical software,
please let us know ... that might be useful as well. You will be expected
to be able to work with ECL on competitive analysis, but don't worry: ECL
will teach you how to do that using its proprietary, successful methodology.
Strong writing skills preferred (i.e. documenting your work).
We prefer that you be in Austin, Texas (where SAS Institute has a large
facility) but would consider telecommuting for the perfect candidate. This
is a short-term assignment, approximately 6-8 weeks in duration - perfect
for the moonlighter, too (so long as you can put in the hours).
You will be joining a select staff of ECL consultants and a highly
motivated, talented team. You will have flexible work hours/schedules, and
would expect to meet the client at most once or twice (therefore, you may
expect to work in a very casual but focused work environment).
You must have excellent references, demonstrably prove your expertise with
SAS Institute software (and/or competitors), enterprise level software, and
be extremely honest and trustworthy. For this position we would consider
non-US Citizens, but you must document your ability to work in the USA.
Experience with enterprise level software testing is a welcome plus.
