DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate and administer all functions of the plant HR Department, while serving as a resource to the plant, in order to achieve the plant objectives of safety, quality, productivity and customer service.
Position reports to Plant Manager, dotted line to Corporate HR.

REQUIREMENTS
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skill is a MUST.
* Bachelor\'s Degree required, Masters a plus;
* Minimum of ten years HR Management experience in a manufacturing plant environment; food mfg preferred but not required, minimum of five years (5) experience supervising an HR team.
* Must have working knowledge of compensation, employee benefits, Workers\' Compensation, staffing, training, employee relations, employment law, EEO and Affirmative Action.
* Must be a proven decision maker; Must be able to act as a consultant to dept. mgrs on HR and organizational issues. Must be able to correlate HR perspectives to business issues. Must have excellent written and verbal communication ability; computer literacy.
* Current hands-on, mfg plant HR experience is a must, non-union preferred, candidates with mostly or recent corporate experience will not be considered.
