Network Systems Eng - Information Assurance/Security - DoD
Manage and participate in the Information Assurance/Network Security (Tactical) teams designing secure Tactical Networks with military-grade Information Assurance features. Responsibilities include project planning & management, architecture definition, design, engineering, configuring, installing, testing and documenting high-level tactical networks and external and internal interfaces, with routers, VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection devices, host protection tools, etc.; The candidate will provide technical leadership to software and junior systems engineers and must have technical knowledge and extensive
7 + years experience in design of Information Assurance Systems for tactical communication systems. 5 years of experience in Project Management. Tactical Network Knowledge. Experience in design and implementation of tactical systems incorporating one or more of the following technology areas: layer3 switches and routers, firewalls, intrusion detection devices, VPNs, PKI Any of the following certifications: Cisco Security certification (preferred); CISSP certification (preferred/similar to); SANS certifications BS /MS EE / CS / CE or equivalent technical experience.
*** US Citizenship required ***
An "active" Secret or TS clearance is a plus.
