Your main role will be to develop enhancements to existing systems using
Visual FoxPro as your primary tool. You will also be responsible for
assisting in network administration duties, software and hardware
evaluation, installation and testing, systems documentation and maintenance
of PCs.
Qualifications: You hold a post-secondary computer programming
degree/diploma or equivalent work experience. You have extensive experience
programming in Visual FoxPro 5 or 6. Good verbal, written, interpersonal and
problem-solving skills are imperative. You will be a self-motivated
individual who works well with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, HL7 and WWW would be definite
assets. Experience in the insurance or financial industry would also be
beneficial.
