Our client, is currently looking for a Senior Release Engineer
experience to join its team of IT professionals.
Purpose of Position
Responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of the daily
build; creation and maintenance of source control structure and
directories.
Responsibilities
Software builds and installations
· Define, document and maintain automated build and release procedures
· Develop and maintain build scripts and other tools
· Build and package software releases, and maintain library of
released software
· Ensure reproducibility of builds
CVS administration and support
· Develop and enforce CVS usage standards and procedures
· Address CM issues and recommend ongoing process improvements
· Support CVS user community
· Care for administration and optimization of CVS
· Create and manage VOB repositories
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
MUST HAVES:
· 5+ years of experience in supporting development environments
· 2+ years of supporting J2EE based development environments
· 3+ years CVS Administration
· 1+ years ANT
· Unix utilities
· 3+ years of experience with any programming language (preferably
Java)
Nice to Have:
· 2+ years of Weblogic Administration
· IDE - Eclipse
· SQL (Oracle SQL*Plus)
· Weblogic (Deployment)
This is a contract opportunity with an anticipated minimum duration of
six months.
