You have to lick some Liberal Senator's bums in order to get the tax write off. Hopefully they'll be clean when they drop the linen, and you start the rimmin'.

First you have to be wealthy enough to owe half million in back taxes......

Nothing special; just being a liberal party hack is usually sufficient.

When Mulroney was in, you only needed to be a Conservative party hack.

Maybe, but the corruption, unethical conduct and downright lying under the liberals is starting to make Mulroney et al look like amateurs.
Just compare the records.

Now that's very true. the Tories had nothing over the federal Liberals on that subject. The federal Liberals are the best in the business.

There's will be alot of that patronage shit going on after the federal Liberal Leadership convention and when Jean Chretien begins to wind down his time in the Prime Minister's Office. Senseless and useless Senate appointments, Appointments to ambassadorships, etc. etc for the good ol' boys and girls on the federal Liberal fundraising list. If Shelia Copps doesn't make it to Cabinet with Martin, she'll get a political reward, as will Boudrais and a few other federal Liberal hasbeens.

Wait for it. Be in front of the TV watching the National with Peter Mansbridge when it happens.

Not for that sort of a deal, you've got to be a particularly devoted (and well-connected) hack to swing a deal like Rad's.
