".chm" is likely a Compiled HTML Help file and not actually HTML. Usually such a file would be downloaded to local storage and scanned first, then opened locally. You can check Opera's File Types preferences to determine the action for these files. I don't think failing to bookmark it is an error. JMHO though.

I created a bookmark for it.

a) From the main menu, select Bookmarks/Manage bookmarks b) Press the "New..." button.
c) Enter a name/nickname/description...
d) Enter or copy the link addres into the Address field.
e) Press the OK button.

It is now in the bookmarks.

But like it was said before, this is CHM file which means that it will be downloaded to your local box before it can be opened by the MS Help program.

Indeed, but what should the file type have to do with with bookmarability?

And I want to be able to use a bookmark for that.
