Opera's startup dialog is about startup. This is a modified version which
is just as much about browsing, a sort of control panel if you like..
Changes from the original:
* Bookmarks button
Shows the bookmarks menu.
* Transfers button
Opens the transfers window alone.
* Mail button, with submenu:
- Compose, opens the compose window alone.
- Read mail, tries to check for mail and opens a window with the Unread
view.
- Send queued, sends any queued mail.
* Address-field
* Search-field
(If you use Opera 7.2 beta, you can use this for googl'ing without seeing
Opera's main window ;-)
* Sessions button
Calls the same menu as the one in the File menu in the browser. Meant
partly to replace the sessions field in the original dialog. See below.
* Preferences button with submenu:
- Accept popup windows
- Accept only requested popup windows
- Enable/Disable Java
- Enable/Disable Javascript
- Enable/Disable Plugins
- Enable/Disable Proxy Servers
- Work Offline/Online
- Identify as... submenu
- Network Preferences
- Skin submenu
* Exit button
Will close all Opera windows (Or cancel the startup sequence...)
Other changes:
* Removed 'Continue from last time' radio, clicking in the sessions field
has the same effect.
* The sessions field is now hidden by default, but you can resize the
dialog downwards to show it again. The Sessions button is the (my, anyway)
preferred way to open sessions.
All actions taken from the dialog except for pressing Start will leave the
dialog open...
The dialog is multilingual, meaning text will still be in your own opera
language.

Installing the dialog:
Modify the file 'dialog.ini' in the \opera folder, and replace the whole
[Startup Dialog] section with the following:
