OPERA GENERAL 46 ADDING TO MENU INI

I want 'Select All' on the mail popup, so I shut down Opera, inserted the lines, below, after 'Delete' in the menu.ini file in my Opera7 folder, and saved the changes. Then I started Opera; still the same old popup. I checked the menu.ini file and the added lines are there, i.e.,

---
Item, 50641 = Select All ----

'Reload addition for pagebar' is selected on Preferences->Toolbars and Menus.

Any suggestions, explanations, or advice?

-Tom

A tip for people editing menu's: You don't need to shut down Opera to see the changes, all you ahve to do is edit the file, then open the prefs and choose the same menu file again and click OK.

There is no Menu subdirectory in my Opera7 directory and there is no reference to the menu subdirectory in the About Opera display (Version 7.11, Build 2887, Platform Win32, System Windows XP).

So what's a poor soul to do?

I think Josef meant that the About Opera screen tells you what the Opera profile directory is.
