After the USSC awarded the dubya all of Florida's electoral vote.

Yep, that is certainly correct.

However, the usual means of awarding electoral votes has been by Just Counting All The Votes rather than Just Counting Some Of The Votes and having the USSC awarding the electoral votes on that basis.

> Gore > conceded, and George Bush IS the elected President.

The dubya IS the president. Whether he is the -elected- one is quite a different matter. Robert Mugabe IS the president of Zimbabwe. You tell me whether he's the -elected- president.

Mostly countries in sub-Saharan Africa are the ones which -appoint- their presidents without bothering to Just Count All The Votes. But, Zimbabwe has nothing on us in that regard.

Any day now, I expect the dubya to declare himself President For Life, further emulating the African example.

Peace and justice,

Typed, no doubt hula boy, without actually visiting the referenced URL.

You might try an actual follow up some time rather than jest taking things on faith 'cause they agree with yer preconceived biases.

Had you done so, you would have seen that the referenced URL in no way supports Thomas' contention and, indeed, demonstrates EXACTLY the contrary.

Assuming, of course, that your IQ and Thomas' IQ combined exceed that of a turnip's.

Assuming the combined IQ's are approximately equal, you may well see what Thomas -thought- he saw.

In which case, you are both Beyond All Hope.

But, what the hell.

Peace and justice,

Yes indeed. They have -truly- fixed things. They've turned a $200 billion budget surplus into a $400 billion (and counting)
budget deficit while watching two and one-half million Americans become unemployed. Civil liberties have been trampled on and American citizens are confined to military jails with no charges filed, no grand jury indictment, no right to counsel, no right of habeas corpus, and no right to even get a trial - ever.

Meanwhile, they can't find Osama bin Lauden, they can't find Mullah Omar, they can't find Saddam Hussein, they can't find either of his sons, they can't find any nerve gas or biological weapons, they can't find any nuclear program, and they can't find any remote controlled drones "capable of delivering weapons of mass destruction to our shores" - all the while, American soldiers are being killed at the rate of better than one a day.

I'm thinking we've got just about all the republican "fixing" we can take.

Peace and justice,

It all depends on what the meaning of 'is' is, eh?

And oral sex is not really sex?

Sheesh! You're engaging in exactly the verbal parsing that you and yer ilk condemn Clinton for.

In fact, double sheesh! Hypocrite!

That, of course, would be another lie, hula boy.

Don't you bother to check this shit before posting? Or, like the dubya, are ya' claiming that it ain't yer fault 'cause it was the CIA's job to check these sorts of things for you?

Peace and justice,
