Except, of course, for the parts that are either completely wrong or
weasel-worded. oops...that takes out most of it, now doesn't it?
For example, the person who was commander of the 174th at that time has
stated that they *were* flying F-102's for at least a year after GW was
finally handed his discharge; they flew them for the entire time that he
was assigned to that unit, and well beyond. (See the Boston Globe
article; it's one of the few that was actually published about the
ghuy's service record, and came out shortly before the press was
diverted away from this by the DUI stuff that the campaign released.)
There was nothing in that 'history' proved that he was not a cokehead
deserter who was handed the typical B.S. breaks they give to the sons of
the privileged. Why has Bush consistently refused to release (or even
discuss) his full military record?
