Check this out I got a 10 star rating from my insurance company and I was
paying around 1400.00 a yr for full coverage for a 2001 caravan so it went
up 200 bucks because of the postal code are I live in. Not allot of traffic
and 12 km to work. This is near the airport but not on the busy rd. If I
lived in Kanada or Orleans I would pay1225.00 a yr 105 a month instead of
1643 and 142.47 a month that I am going to pay now.So my insurance went up
about 75% 245.00. My agent said to get a postal code in Orleans and I would
pay cheaper insurance. Weird eh?

Perhaps it's time to shop around?
For 29 years I was with the Cooperators and was quite happy until I asked
them about insurance for the new Escape I purchased in the Fall. I was told
it would be $1500.00! Needless to say I decided to go shopping.
BelairDirect offered me a rate I couldn't refuse. Under $1000.00.
I have two vehicles insured with them, my 2003 Escape and my husbands 2002
Ford F150 4x4 pickup - this buggy drives most days from Bells Corners and
back. Total for the two? $1752.00.
It started out to be $1776.00 but I see that my premiums are now $2 less a
month than when I started out with them.
Ya I think it is time to shop around insurence should go down not up
