We are currently recruiting for a JUNIOR PROGRAMMER for our
clients within the federal government.
LOCATION: Ottawa
EDUCATION
Degree or diploma from a university/college/CEGEP/vocational or technical
training institution.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in the development and maintenance of systems used with the following
database software:
- Linux or UNIX System V rel.4;
- Extensive Linux or UNIX V rel.4 batch routines to drive batch
processing;
- NT Network Operating System v4;
- Windows 2000 server
And in the use and support of the following database tools:
- ORACLE VER 8
- SQL*PLUS
- SQL*LOADER
- SQL*REPORT
- PL/SQL
- PRO*C
- SQL*MENU
- SQL*FORMS
- Brio/SQR Report Writer
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in the operation of Oracle support on a problem response and
resolution service.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in the operation of custom client/server processing, application
systems geographically installed in several regions.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in the support of custom applications systems which are
implemented/used by several clients.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in the development and maintenance of full function management
information systems for government organizations or other large public or
private organizations.
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience acquired within the last 2
years in mission-critical systems database management, in database security
and in the setup and maintenance of database infrastructures including data
dictionaries and test environments.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be bilingual.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Enhanced Security Clearance.
