clients within the federal government.

EDUCATION
Degree or diploma from a university/college/CEGEP/vocational or technical
training institution.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To provide on-call support for legacy systems.
- To find the reason for problems, correct the code, test, support the
client during Acceptance Testing and put the changes into production.
- To revamp the documentation for legacy systems to provide a comprehensive
and current overview of the systems.
- To provide information on legacy system functionality to the project team
that is replacing the IDIS/ICPS software.
- To develop bridges between the legacy software and the newly developed
software.
- To port ZIM applications from the QNX operating system to a Windows
environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Must have at least 5 years experience in the last 10 years of developing an
in-depth understanding and familiarity with complex legacy systems, in
analyzing requirements for modifications and extensions to these complex
systems, and in evaluating alternatives and making recommendations.
- Must have at least 5 years experience in the last 10 years in designing,
coding, testing and installing software systems in an MVS environment
including JCL, TSO, ISPF.
- Must have at least 3 years experience in the last 6 years in designing,
coding, testing and installing software systems using ADABAS, Natural.
- Must have at least 3 years experience in the last 6 years of designing,
coding, testing and installing software systems using PL/1, COBOL, SAS.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Enhanced Security Clearance.
