We are currently recruiting for a MID-LEVEL SAP R/3 CROSS-MODULE CONSULTANT
for our clients within the federal government.
LOCATION: Ottawa
DURATION: 2 Years
EDUCATION
Post Secondary education in a recognized business, commerce, or financial
administration study program.
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Provide on-going cross-module expertise in relation to the client's ongoing
implementation, operation, and updating and upgrading of its SAP financial,
material, and salary management enterprise resource planning system.
- Analysis of business process.
- Analysis of SAP Configuration.
- Analysis of ABAP-based modifications and opportunities.
- Application of quality assurance methodology.
- Assessment of end-user issues and priorities.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Must have a minimum of six (6) years of SAP consulting experience in SAP
R/3. Consisting of experience in implementations, upgrades and/or production
support.
- Must have a minimum of Three (3) years of experience in SAP Cross-Module
consulting during which at least five SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, FM, SPL,
MM, PM, SD) were being simultaneously integrated.
- Must have two (2) years consecutive experience as the "lead" ABAP
consultant at one or more public sector SAP project(s) where use of the FM
(Funds Management) module was involved. This experience must include
creating and using ABAP programming code to develop multiple customized
business process solutions, including User-Exits and the provision of ABAP
performance tuning.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in all of the following
while responsible for managing one or more SAP projects:
· SAP script development
· Preparing/running ABAP Query
· Developing reporting solutions by using SAP Report
Writer/Painter, and
· Remote function calls to interfacing external applications
such as feeder applications with bi-directional interfaces to SAP R/3.
