well, I appreciate the time you've all taken to let me know your thoughts (though not agreeing with 'em all hehe) on the whole slow roll & go ticket issue...
while I do plan to fight it .. I would just like to suggest to anybody out there to do your best to look around for the FIVE-O... as i know that probly at least 80% of us don't actually come to a dead stop at 4-way's ...
and any other little retarded "CRIMES" you do, like "signalling too far in advance", or "not cancelling your signal after a turn" (are these fine-able? I don't know, but I'm sure a copper would find a way to nab ya for it)
...
:)

c ya'll next week some time...

I hate putting my feet down if I don't have to so I try to master the complete stop balancing act. I can usually manage to hold the bike up for a couple seconds at a stop without putting a foot out as long as I've come in stable. Using only rear brake for the last bit of stopping really stabilizes the bike - you don't get as much fork bounce when you stop. You look like a really wobbly dork when it doesn't work though. YMMV. ;-)

cheers,

Kris

I'm curious as to what you are planning your defense to be.

"Signalling to far in advance"... those around may be wondering: Exactly which side street or turn-off is this guy planning on taking?

"Not cancelling your signal after a turn"... likewise: Do you plan on turning again? Did you just forget the signal?

In both situations... it isn't clear communication of your intentions.
