hey paul, how exactly duz that work anyways with a Vtwin?
do ya still just have one main airbox and hence only one filter?
I've seen numerous inline 4 bikes that have 4 individual pods, and some
smaller inline 4's that have 2 filters that each cover 2 cylinders...
just curious :)

Bikes usually have one filter that does all cylinders. The "pods" you
are referring to are after market add ons where you need to re-jet as
you will be running much too lean a mixture.

Well all - thanks for the overwhelming response. In all cases the response
has been positive so I have done the deed - ordered it from Powersports so
am waiting with baited breath. Will let you know how it turns out...

Canadian Tire sells a K&N recharge kit, $15.99
remove your filter, spray on cleaner, let sit for a while wash off
with warm, low pressure water and let air dry. When dry, apply the oil
lightly till filter vanes are red in colour and re install in bike.
Instructions come with kit and is very straightforward.
