COGNOS Impromptu, COGNOS IWR Report Management, COGNOS
PowerPlay, COGNOS Query, Oracle Version 8, PowerPlay Web, SQL,
Informatica ETL.
Primary Activities:
Responsible for converting reports from Oracle Reports to
COGNOS Impromptu and deploying in COGNOS Impromptu Web Reports
(IWR). Will be responsible for assessing requirements,
designing, developing reports using COGNOS Impromptu in an
Oracle environment and developing transformations from source
applications to data warehouse. Will also be responsible for
assisting business customers with technical issues they
encounter using COGNOS products to build reports.
Essential Skills:
The candidate should have 3 years experience in use,
development and deployment of COGNOS Impromptu reports (v7) in
an Oracle environment. Must have expertise using SQL and
deploying Impromptu Web Reports. Excellent communications
skills. Ability to work independently. Development background
using a methodology similar to clients SLC. Experience using
Oracle Reports, COGNOS PowerPlay, and Informatica ETL is
desirable.
